Guilty because I don’t care to prove my innocence.

There’s nothing worse than someone accusing you of something you did not do. And the funny thing is, the more you try to prove your innocence the more guilty you sound. I’m convinced that when people believe that you did them wrong, you should just let them. There is nothing that you can say or do to change their mind. And everything you do will look “suspect”. You could be innocent and it wouldn’t even matter. If they believe in their gut that you are guilty, it’s probably the universe’s way of removing what is NOT for you out of your life. They have no facts, they have no proof, but they are trusting their gut. Perhaps their universe is also looking out for them. Don’t try to prove your innocence in this case. As long as you know in your heart that you are not guilty of what you’re being accused of silence is golden.

I used to date this person. My ex. They decided they wanted to miss me all of a sudden because they ran into the person who introduced us. So in that conversation, it was revealed to me, why they decided to go ghost in the first place. It was revealed to me why they became distant, why they abandoned our relationship, only to find out that it was because they were sure that I cheated on them. They believed something was “off”. Knowing myself, and how I’m so loyal to a point where I’ll make others happy instead of making myself happy made me smile. I remember when I used to hurt over him, yearn for him, wonder about him! Smh…you would think a man would use his words, and say something, but instead of speaking up, he chose to be distant.

Now that I got my reason, and the closure I thought I needed, I find comfort in knowing that the universe removed someone from my life who never even took the time to get to know me in the first place – because if they did, they would know that’s not me! I pride myself on loyalty and commitment. Now they are trying to make themselves relevant again….”I really wanna see you..” “I didn’t realize how much I missed your voice…” Right. You miss the “cheater” … ok Sir. Have a great life, sir.
